Rocco is officially apart of the Pink Hat Nation. The details of his contract are a one year deal worth 500k. He will earn a $1.75 million bonus if he can stay on the active all season. I think Rocco deserves better, but I guess it is a home town discount.

I think it was a fair contract. He was rehabbing on our nickel, while still picking up a healthy check. It’s unfortunate we didn’t have a roster spot for a part time player, which I really think that’s all he’s going to be with the Sox.
120+ games in 3 years, it’s hard to weigh dollars to such a small amount of playing time. And btw, I don’t think this new Dr. has it figured out yet either, even though the Sox say they really know what the issue is now. Hahahaha right
