AAA – Wade Davis continues to pitch well for Durham.  On Monday, he pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and three walks while striking out seven to lead the Durham Bulls past Pawtucket 3-2.  At the plate, 2B Henry Mateo hit his first HR for the Bulls and Ray Sadler and Rashad Eldridge added two hits a piece.  Back to Davis, he is now 6-3 on the season with a 3.18 ERA.

AA – The return of Pat Burrell started in Montgomery.  But, it’s off to a slow start.  Burrell went 0-5 with 3 K’s as he watched the Biscuits get burned by Birmingham 14-8.  Starting pitcher Aneury Rodriguez lasted only two innings, allowing eight runs and eight hits.  His record now stands at 2-8 since being acquired from the Rockies for Jason Hammel.

A – Charlotte and Brevard County were postponed due to rain for the second night in a row.

A – Chris Andujar is now 7-2 with a 2.84 ERA as he threw six innings, allowing one run on one hit as the Bowling Green Hot Rods beat Greenville 6-1.  Kyeong Kang and Michael Sheridan provided the power, each hitting home runs.  For Kang, it was his first home run of the season with the Hot Rods.
