- Chris Nowak hit his second home run of the season.
- Nevin Ashley was 3-4, having a single, double, and triple in the game.
Single-A Charlotte Stone Crabs (18-17, 3rd place) – shut out Palm Beach, 4-0
- Starter Chris Andujar pitched a gem, allowing no runs on one hit in 8 1/3 innings. He is now 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA.
- Tim Beckham hit a two-run home run, his third on the season.

Single-A Bowling Green Hot Rods (11-25, last place) – lost to Lansing 4-3
- The Hot Rods gave up all four runs in the top of the eighth inning as reliever Deivis Mavarez allowed all runs in his two innings of work.
- Kyle Lobstein pitched six shutout innings, allowing just two hits and there walks while striking out five.
- Dustin Biell and Robi Estrada each had two hits for the Hot Rods.
