Baseball Bloggers Alliance Connie Mack Award Ballot

It's that time of year again, time for the end of season awards. The Baseball Bloggers Alliance is a group of baseball bloggers thta Rise of the Rays is involved with. Over the next couple of days you will see our ballots for the BBA awards. The Connie Mack award is the manager of the year. Here is my ballot, for the American League:
  1. Joe Maddon
  2. Ron Gardenhire
  3. Ron Washington
I had to give Joe Maddon some love for getting us to 96 wins and beating those Yankees. I have no love for Joe Girardi, because just about anybody could manage that team to 80+ wins. Ron Gardenhire took the Twins to a great year, despite missing Justin Morneau most of the second half. As for Washington, we all know how good his team is, so I think that speaks for itself. The next award will be the Willie Mays award, and that will be posted October 15th.
