Matt Moore made the start for the South All-Stars and it was one he’d rather forget.  Coming off the complete game no-hitter from last week, Moore lasted only 2/3 inning, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk.

Overall, Rays prospects from the Montgomery Biscuits didn’t fare will with pitchers Chris Archer and Marquis Fleming and hitters Stephen Vogt and Daniel Mayora getting into the game without much to show for it.

Mayora started at third base and went 0-4 with three strikeouts and Vogt was 0-1 as a backup catcher.  And, on the mound, Archer pitched an inning, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits while Fleming walked two in 2/3 innings of relief.

I am a season ticket holder in Jackson, host of this years ALL STAR game and I would like to thank each player, team staff , players families, and of course the fans who came to support your all stars.

As a season ticket holder, I hold the beleif that I am a part owner of Pringle Park. The park is also called “The Big Chip” and is named for Pringles potato chips which are only made here in Jackson at the Proctor and Gamble facility here.

Last night’s game , we saw over 5500 fans walk through our gates. I hope that in the future, when possible that some of your fans will return to root for their team. If Anyone is ever in town feel free to stop in and see me in section BB row 2 seat 19. I’ll even treat you to a Richo Burger from our famous grill master.

Again many thanks to those of you who came, played and cheered for your Biscuit players and the other all stars. We’ll see you in Knoxville TN in 2012 and Jacksonville FL in 2013!
